Oaklands' new studio designed by Graham Thirkell is nearing completion, it is a world class facilty capable of recording any type of ensemble. The main recording space is a custom designed room to record large ensembles, the main mix room is based around a 128 channel Harrison Series 10b console and features some of the best outboard gear available. We have just installed a 96I/O Pro Tools HD3 Accel System on the new 8 core Mac Pro in this room also.

Our latest exciting addition to the studio is a brand new Yamaha C7 Concert Grand Piano. This is a fine instrument and has already been broken in by some of Melbourne's finest pianists.

Oaklands now offers professional video camera hire and data projector hire, we also offer kits which include a camera, fluid head tripod, shotgun mic and radio mic.

Oaklands also now offers lighting for live events, we have an extensive range of colours, effect lights, intelligent moving lights and laser shows.

On the microphone front we have just taken delivery of the legendary U47 tube mic, hand crafted by Gunter Wagner, this is a true classic. Other mics in our collection is a Neumann U67 tube mic, made in the early 1960s, this mic is a true piece of history and the legendary Neumann M49. Our latest addition are the legendary JBL 4435 studio monitors, these giant dual 15" and bi-radial horn studio monitors can handle anything you throw at them, all with pristine accurate sound.

The latest addition to the facility is the broadcast shooting set featuring a green screen and chroma keyer for compositing video, this gives us the facility to do broadcast shoots in house.
