Oaklands Productions was established in 1996 and has been operating in Melbourne ever since. We are nearing completion of our new state of the art recording facility designed by Graham Thirkell, featuring an orchestral room capable of holding 50+ musicians and a Yamaha C7 concert grand piano.
Our spacious Control Room A features a 128 channel Harrison Series 10 Console with Flying Faders and full automation and a 96I/O Pro Tools HD3 Accel system running on an 8 core Mac Pro.
Control Room B is a smaller mix room and edit suite and doubles as our main video editing suite. We also have three new recording spaces, a Vocal Booth, Drum Booth and Guitar Booth.
We have also added a green screen for video compositing and some new toys in the video department including a live video mixer and chroma keyer, we are also opeining our broadcast shooting set in the coming months.
New additions to our list of services include lighting for live events, wedding videos, video camera hire, lectern hire and a record label.
Our recent work has included recording and mixing the music for the feature film "The Real Thing" starring Kate Fisher, coutless CD releases covering a large range of genres from Pop / Rock Bands to Big Bands to Symphony Orchestras. Be sure to check out the MP3s of some of our recent productions.
